(ABC 6 News) -- The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said a driver who crashed his semi into a pickup truck and a school bus in High Forest Township on May 7 was not paying attention and is facing several charges; including careless driving and failure to stop.
Charges against 45-year-old Vahan Rostomyan of Burbank are being referred to the Olmsted County Attorney's Office.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash involving a semi-trailer and school bus in High Forest Township Friday.
Just before 1 p.m., a school bus carrying eight children from the Stewartville School District was stopped in the 7300 block of County Road 6 SW.
Authorities say the semi-driver did not see the school bus and attempted to avoid the crash, and as a result, became jack-knifed in the ditch and roadway.
At this time, there is no indication of any alcohol or controlled substance use by any drivers.
No children were injured in this crash and the crash remains under investigation.
More details are expected to be released on Monday.
