(ABC 6 NEWS) - The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said a teenager from Rochester allegedly threatened a group of teenagers with a gun at a park in Byron Thursday night.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's office received a complaint that the teenager was threatening this group of teens because he wanted to know who beat up one of the "prime players" in the issues surrounding the Byron car thefts. The teen accused of making the threats was located on Friday morning at a home in Rochester.
Officials said the teen is on probation and has a history of using at least one fake and one real gun. When deputies arrived at the home the teen ran out of the back of the house.
Deputies were able to catch up with the teenager who then fought officers, a taser was deployed to stop him. He was arrested on possible charges of obstructing the legal process, fleeing on foot and an apprehension order. Additional charges related to Thursday's incident are possible.
The sheriff's office said this teenager was not involved in the recent car thefts but said three juvenile males remain in custody in relation to the thefts.
