Minnesota Wild summer road tour stops in Rochester

(ABC 6 News) – We may be two months away from the start of the NHL season.

But that didn’t stop hockey fans in Rochester from showing their love for the sport and their favorite team.

Members of the Minnesota Wild stopped by Rochester on Monday evening. It’s the first stop during their 2022 summer road tour, giving fans the chance to hang out with Nordy the mascot and play some hockey games.

Fans also got to meet and get some merchandise signed by Wild defenseman Jon Merrill.

Organizers say they were pleased with the turnout.
