Mayo Clinic Blood Donor program needs blood donations for the holiday season

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Mayo Clinic Blood Donor Program is asking you to consider giving the gift of blood during this holiday season.
November and December are typically difficult times to collect blood because of seasonal illnesses and the busy holiday schedules many of us have.
The Mayo Clinic Blood Donor Center is reaching a holiday season hurdle because it will be closed during the Thanksgiving holiday.
They are asking anyone to donate, but they especially need O+, A+, and B- blood types.
If you donate right now through Friday the 19th you can be entered to win a private dining experience at a local restaurant.
