Man taken to the hospital with ‘significant’ facial injury after incident at Kathy’s Pub

(ABC 6 News) – A 36-year-old man was taken to the hospital after receiving what police said was a significant cut to his face at Kathy’s Pub early Tuesday morning.

Police said they received a call just after midnight Tuesday about an incident at Kathy’s Pub. A 36-year-old man was hit in the head with a beer bottle and received a significant cut to his face that will require stitches. The man was taken to St Marys by ambulance.

Information on what happened before he was hit in the head is limited. Witnesses at the bar at the time said they heard the bottle smash and saw the man go down but didn’t see what happened before.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance video to identify the suspect and figure out what happened. No arrests have been made as of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
