(ABC 6 News) - UPDATE: The Apache Mall has announced it will reopen stores on Monday, May 18.
"New measures have been implemented to help ensure the health and safety for all who enter the mall, including hand-sanitizing stations, touch-free interactions, frequent and intense cleanings and social distancing directions. We are working diligently to provide a safe, clean environment where people feel comfortable shopping, dining and enjoying their time."
Apache Mall will be open 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and non to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced Wednesday night that the Stay at Home order would not be extended past the May 18 end date, this allows malls across the state to make plans to reopen.
The Mall of America (MOA) in Bloomington has decided to reopen retail stores effective June 1. In a press release Thursday, MOA says this will allow the mall staff and individual stores to prepare for the safest environment possible.
"It will also allow our diverse set of retail tenants," the statement continues, "the time needed to rehire, train staff and prepare their individual stores with necessary cleaning, sanitization and safety measure implementations."
All dining and attractions will remain closed until further guidance from state officials is provided.
While MOA will reopen on June 1, not all retailers will open immediately.
ABC 6 News reached out to Apache Mall in Rochester and it is continuing to monitor the new guidelines and working on plans to reopen safely. "The well-being of our guests, tenants and employees is our highest priority and we will reopen our center when we are ready to do so," it said in a statement.
