(ABC 6 News) -- Communities in southeastern Minnesota continue to show support to those affected in Minneapolis.
A local group from Plainview and Rochester heard from moms in the Twin Cities about a need for diapers, baby supplies and food, and wanted to help out.
The group collected donations and supplies from Stewartville, Plainview, Rushford and Caledonia raising more than $6,800.
"It's huge, I mean having everyone help us out like this being from a small town you don't think you can help, but you can and everyone who donated it's not just us, this is everyone who donated it's just as much them as it is us without them we wouldn't have made this possible," said Michael Veenhuis.
The group makes trips daily to Minneapolis with supplies. They say they are still accepting donations.
