(ABC 6 News) – It’s the tenth year of the Holiday Lights Tour in Rochester, and the first since last year when the event was put off due to the pandemic.

The tour takes riders through all of the biggest and especially brightest houses for the holidays. Tours kick off at the entrance to the Centerstone Plaza Hotel over by Soldiers Field.

"Well it’s a fan favorite; it’s a flagship tour. It really brings the community together and visitors thoroughly enjoy it,” said owner Laura Ellwood of Rochester Trolley & Tour Company.

There were a lot of highlights. Santa came onto the trolley at one point, and there was a wide array of decorations. Some of them included The Grinch and a ton of blue Christmas lights.

There was also plenty of blow-up figures of Snoopy, Frosty the Snowman, and one of the largest dogs I have ever seen. One guy was still putting up his lights, and he already had more than anyone else.

Tours last an hour and a half and will be occurring until January 7th.
