(ABC 6 News) - Shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday the fire department said a fire reignited in a NW Rochester building.
The RFD said there is a large number of flammable items in the building and it's difficult to fully extinguish areas that are smoldering. Crews sprayed the building again with water.
Firefighters battled a fire at a northwest Rochester building Tuesday.
Just before 5:30 p.m., fire crews responded to the 500 block of 2nd Avenue NW for a fully involved fire.
Fire officials said no one was inside the building at the time of the fire.
Damage is estimated at $150,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation
The Rochester Police Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
RFD reminds individuals to test smoke detectors and remember to evacuate then call 911 immediately.
