(ABC 6 News) - Families in the Rochester school system were sharing their thoughts online Wednesday on a permanent online school option for their children.
They asked questions about the option and gave the school system some feedback.
Beginning this fall, students can choose to attend school virtually full-time.
RPS leaders say students outside the district will also be able to attend that way and students will still be able to participate in extra-curricular activities in person.
"We want people to make the best decisions for their kids and we believe that will be this program for families who are choosing an online program," says Chris Fogarty, RPS Online School Assistant Principal.
RPS is planning on opening the listening sessions up to the public in the coming weeks.
