(ABC 6 News) - The man accused of driving under the influence and killing an 18-year-old Rochester teen has been released from custody.

A $30,000 bond was posted this week for Sterling Haukom with several conditions. According to court documents, Haukom is required to inform his attorney and the Court of his location at all times and can not leave the state.

Court records do not indicate when Haukom's next court appearance is.

Haukom is charged with felony criminal vehicular homicide and a gross misdemeanor of DWI in the death of 18-year-old Erika Cruz on February 23, 2021. Haukom pled not guilty to both charges in late March.
