15-year-old driver and passenger hurt in crash Sunday afternoon

(ABC 6 News) – A teenage driver and a passenger in the car she was driving were both hurt in a crash Sunday afternoon.

Crash reports from the Minnesota State Patrol say the 15-year-old was exiting onto southbound Highway 52 from 41st St in Rochester around 7 p.m. when she lost control of the car and collided with an SUV driven by a 64-year-old from Oronoco.

The 15-year-old was taken to Olmsted Medical Center. The extent of her injuries was not listed in the crash report. A 53-year-old passenger was taken to Saint Marys with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV was not hurt.
