(ABC 6 News) - Now that the school year has started for many kids in our area, one place in Rochester is looking to offer tutoring help for kids who need it.
125 Live is launching its learning pod program next Wednesday.
It's designed for elementary-age children to get help with their school work in the areas of math and reading.
They also provide physical fitness, art and real-life skills.
"I just want to respond to the community and that's my hope. I want to help. I feel like there is a massive need, parents do not know what to do and they are having a hard time trying to balance their personal life and work,” Sylwia Bujak-Oliver, executive director of 125 Live said.
The program will take place in the river room every Wednesday from 1-3 p.m where students will rotate throughout the subjects.
The space also has benefits for parents.
“The cost is $120 per month which is quite affordable and we allow the parents to drop their kids off. If they choose to become 125 Live members, they can stay on the premises, they can use our fitness equipment, utilize our fitness studio and they can choose a quite space to work from and we're going to look after their kids and make sure that the distance learning is completed,” Bujak-Oliver said.
If you're a parent and would like to register your kid for this, visit this link.
