(ABC 6 News) -- A big Sunday night in Iowa as Democratic presidential candidates passionately pitch to their supporters at different campaign events across the state.

One presidential candidate was in Charles City Sunday night. ABC 6 News reporter Brett Bachtle is there at the Bernie Sanders Green Jobs Town Hall meeting at the Floyd County Fairgrounds, Youth Enrichment Center.

Organizers say discussions will center around how the new green deal will drive economic growth and create good paying jobs in rural Iowa.

Sanders is not the only candidate to visit North Iowa this weekend. On Saturday, Sen. Kamala Harris made a stop at the Historic Park Inn in Mason City to talk to voters.

Sen. Cory Booker is also in Iowa speaking to residents about his economic plans during an Empowering Iowa Wind Farm Tour in Ames. Booker was calling for the Democratic Party to unite Americans for a common cause and purpose. He also brought up the issue of homelessness among veterans, telling voters it should be a main concern among Americans.
