In-depth at 6:30: Sex Education in Minnesota Public Schools (Part Two)

(ABC 6 News)-- A debate causing a divide on social media that concerns our children and what and how they learn about sex in school.
this coming from legislation that didn't pass this session but some did say it might create some buzz in the 2020 legislative session.

In the weeks before the session ended, house members debated the specifics on what was called a comprehensive sex ed piece.

On the floor, lawmakers referred to a book that could be used in the classroom and as you can imagine, this topic has drawn a lot of attention. the book is called its perfectly normal.

At 6:30, Regional Director of Planned Parenthood Jennifer Aulwes and Child Protection League Michelle Lentz expanded on what the legislation entails and if it were to move on in the next session, what would raise concerns.
