(ABC 6 News) -- The 2018 elections are shaping up to be a political battle as Republicans try to keep control of the U.S. Senate. Republicans have control of the chamber by three seats but have their eye on flipping a few seats including the one currently held by Sen. Tina Smith.

On Tuesday, Smith's Republican challenger Karin Housley talked with ABC 6 News anchor Betsy Singer about trying to move from the Minnesota Senate to the U.S. Senate and where she stands on immigration, abortion and President Donald Trump.
