Previous Experience 

Jessie Klinger joined the ABC 6 News team in June 2022. During her time in college, Jessie worked as a producer, anchor, reporter, and Senior Web Producer with OU Nightly. Jessie has focused on environmental and wildlife conservation stories and even received first place in the TV Short Feature Reporting Category for the Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts 2022 for a story she did on Minnesota climate change.

Education

Jessie grew up in both Crosslake, MN and Frisco, Texas, but Minnesota has always been her home. Jessie attended the University of Oklahoma with a major in journalism and a minor in international area studies.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Jessie enjoys traveling and spending time outside with her dog. She is also a fan of Marvel movies and investigative documentaries.
