Previous Experience
Emily Pofahl joined the ABC 6 team in June of 2021. In the Twin Cities, she worked at the Minnesota Daily and freelanced for the Sahan Journal, where she wrote obituaries for Minnesota’s immigrants who died from COVID-19. She also worked as a photographer covering protests in the wake of George Floyd’s murder.
Education
She grew up in Fresno, California, then moved to the land of 10,000 lakes for college, where she graduated with a journalism degree in May 2021 from the University of Minnesota.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Emily enjoys taking kickboxing classes and reading outside in the sun. When she isn’t reporting, you can find her listening to true crime podcasts or watching documentaries.
