Previous Experience

Conner Nuckols joined the ABC 6 News family in June 2022. Before coming to Minnesota, Nuckols worked as a morning show producer, reporter, and fill-in weatherman at Local News 8 in Idaho Falls. Broadcasting was not his primary focus in college.

While studying at Spokane Falls Community College and BYU-I, Nuckols focused on print media. This led Conner in landing a job as a sports writer in Seward, Alaska. Nuckols covered a wide variety of stories and high-profile cases while in Alaska and Idaho, such as the Iditarod sled-dog race and the Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow-Daybell case.

Personal Interests

Conner’s main mission is to interview everyone. One thing he firmly believes is that everyone has an interesting story, hobby, or talent worth sharing. While Conner is not busy in the newsroom, he enjoys playing music, basketball, and participating in musical theatre. He also enjoys talking about animals and dinosaurs.

If you have any story ideas you can email him at or message him on Facebook or Twitter.
