There's a big wind comin' and it's going to put us in the cold. After a very rainy stretch, the last of the rain is moving to the east and we're heading into the cold and windy side of the system.
Temperatures will struggle at first, then tumble this evening, and it's all thanks to some strong winds. The wind field behind the low is producing gusts up to 40 mph. As it passes through our communities, we'll experience the winds picking up this evening and then staying strong until tomorrow evening.
Folks who have garbage day tomorrow may want to make plans to put it out as late as possible to reduce the litter flying around the neighborhood. Some larger limbs, especially if they're rotten or dead, may come out of trees. But I think the worst thing of all is there will be a wind chill!
