It's going to be a sweaty and warm September weekend. With highs in the middle 80s and dew points reaching the upper 60s, it'll be easy to break a sweat taking care of those fall yard chores. If you're participating in the Med City Fall Half Marathon on Sunday, the course will heat up fast after 8:30 am and the heat will start to affect runners.
This unusually warm stretch comes to an end next week. As Hurricane Florence, which made landfall early Thursday morning, finally moves on and unclogs the weather pattern.
