Did you notice that stickiness returned yesterday? Yeah, that won't go away. As a matter of fact, it'll get worse.
Once rain leaves the region tomorrow night, we'll begin to settle into a new weather pattern. The jet stream will begin to rise over the Great Lakes region, putting us under a new hot and humid air mass by the end of the week. Dew points will begin to reach the upper 60s, a muggy range, by Tuesday and even reach to the lower 70s by Thursday, a miserable range.
Higher temperatures will accompany this humidity too. Highs will begin to reach the upper 80s by Friday.
The bad news is I don't see this being a short heat wave. I see signs of it lasting up to the 4th of July.
