We mentioned it in our post about the mid week low but the winds both ahead and behind the center will be breezy, especially once those winds turn out of the northwest. Fun fact, the breezy winds are indicative of how strong the low will be i.e. the stronger the winds, the stronger the low.
Sitting in the warm sector of the upcoming low, winds will remain out of the south/southeast throughout Wednesday morning/afternoon then steadily turning out of the southwest as we head overnight into Thursday. Gusts could be as high as 20 to 30 miles per hour out of the south on Wednesday. Gusts could be as high as 30 to 40 miles per hour on Thursday as we replace the warm, moist airmass with a much cooler and drier one. The winds will start to die down into Thursday night and continue to die down on Friday as this low continues to travel east.
