If the 5" to 7" wasn't enough on Wednesday, we have more snow on the way for the weekend, and very strong wind. The storm for the weekend will arrive in two bits of energy. The first moves in Friday night-Saturday, as a mix of rain/freezing rain/sleet, meaning roads early in the day Saturday will likely become slick. This mix turns to rain Saturday afternoon. Then comes the second bit of energy Satruday night - Sunday morning. This is the timeframe we'll really feel the impacts from the storm in the form of very heavy snow and very strong wind. It's too early to talk specifics on the snowfall potential, but the wind will be out of the NW gusting to/over 45 mph at times. This will lead to blizzard conditions and extremely difficult travel. Keep it on ABC 6 News on air and online for the latest forecast on this storm.
