It's the winter that won't end for February. We get two days off from the winter weather Thursday & Friday, before our next big system arrives for the weekend. This will arrive in two bits of energy. The first for Saturday, and the second Satuday night into Sunday. Saturday's wave is more of a warmer scenario, meaning we'll see rain/sleet/snow, possibly even hear a little thunder at times. Roads could get slick thanks to the sleet/snow mix. Saturday night into Sunday is the timeframe to watch out for in regards to the heavy snow potential. The heaviest looks ot fall very early Sunday morning, but the wind will stay with us all-day Sunday, into Sunday night, causing blowing/drifting snow issues once agian. The track of this storm continues to evolve, and will do so heading into the weekend, so be sure to keep it on ABC 6 News on air and online for the latest forecast information.
