Outlook good! Waterfowl season opens tomorrow with more than usual ducks expected

{ABC 6 News) - Duck hunting is expected to be good when Minnesota's regular waterfowl season opens tomorrow.

This spring, biologists estimated the total breeding duck population in Minnesota to be 14% above the average. This is likely because the number of wetlands is also higher, 23% above average.

The season kicks off a half-hour before sunrise and runs September 21 - 29 and October 12 - December 1.
