In our rain gauges... We've never seen the rain tally up like it has this year in Rochester. The year to day rain + snow melt equivalent precipitation is sitting at 35.37" of rainfall. That's the most we've ever seen on July 22nd in any year. Nearly 3" more than the closest, 2013.
To put into perspective, we've already exceeded a typical yearly quota of 32".
If we didn't see another drop of rain the rest of the year, it would still be the 23rd wettest year in recorded history. Data records extend back to 1886 for Rochester.
