(ABC 6 News) -- Two people were injured after two vehicles collided in Cerro Gordo County on Saturday afternoon.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Office released information on Saturday regarding a two-vehicle crash on Mallard Avenue and 300th Street in Mason City.

Authorities say deputies responded to the accident with injuries and found a 2018 GMC Acadia driven by Kim Kuntz, 60, from St. Ansgar, Iowa crashed into a 2012 Chrysler Mini Van driven by Jason Grahn who is from Northwood, Iowa.

The statement says Kuntz was traveling northbound on Mallard Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the van Grahn was driving. Kuntz and a passenger, Kaye Grahn were brought to Mercy North Iowa Medical Center. Kuntz was also cited for Failure to Maintain Control of her vehicle.
