(ABC 6 News) -- A Worth County man and woman are behind bars this weekend after authorities found three long guns and illegal substances and paraphernalia used for it in a home.

The Worth County Sheriff's Office reported in a statement that on Friday, June 28, around 12:28 p.m. after conducting a search warrant at a home on Wheelerwood Road and finding many pipes used to smoke both marijuana and methamphetamine, numerous baggies containing white crystal substance, multiple baggies containing a green leafy substance, and three long guns -- one of which was a .410 loaded bolt action shotgun -- Timothy Donald Abrahamson and Tricia Ann Hannegrefs were arrested.

A field test for both the green leafy substance and white crystal substance indicated it was marijuana and methamphetamine respectively.

Abrahamson and Hannegrefs were arrested and transported to the Worth County Jail. Both were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine) an aggravated misdemeanor, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense (Marijuana) a serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a simple misdemeanor. Worth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Hancock County Sheriff K-9, Iowa State Patrol, and Northwood Rescue.
