Our biggest concern over the next seven days is going to be a low pressure system that might impact the region starting Monday night and last through Tuesday night. This low will be moving in from the south and starting to bring a rain/snow mix, along with breezy conditions, on Monday night. As temperatures increase and wind speeds increase, the mix will turn over to rain then back to mix precipitation Tuesday night as temperatures cool again.
Of the two, rain or snow, our rain accumulations are going to far more impressive than snow. However, if this low pushes farther south, we may see more snow than rain which would turn the concern over to more impressive/higher snow totals than rain totals. Stay with ABC 6 News for the latest information on this system since it will be moving in and out of the region around the time of Thanksgiving.
