Snow chances increase tonight with snow flying through the entire day on Tuesday before wrapping up Tuesday night. Heaviest snow is expected to fall south of I90 where some 5-7" with isolated spots to 8" will be possible by Wednesday morning. North of I90 locally, 3-6" is possible.
A precursor to snow is a narrow window of freezing drizzle that may bring a glaze of ice. On top of snow that's already blowing around courtesy of 35 mph wind gusts from the southeast, this will lead to isolated slippery spots on highways tonight before snow flies.
Look for impacted travel through Tuesday night before we return to normalcy on Wednesday.
