Strangers donate to help local family

(ABC 6 News) – Last week, we brought you the story of an Austin family working to to donate toys to Mayo Clinic patients in honor of their daughter Adelia who passed away from cancer.

Over the weekend, after collecting roughly 800 toys and books, the Dundas family dropped off their haul to the child life team at Mayo Clinic.

At final tally, they collected over 200 books and 550 toys.

On Facebook, the family says “we don’t have words to share the gratitude and love expressed by the child life team who needed 6 carts to haul 44 boxes and 15 bags of toys inside.
