Fillmore county man taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash

(ABC 6 New) – A Fillmore county man was taken to a local hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 10:56 a.m., a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound on Highway 52 in Marion Township when it collided with a 2001 Mack Straight Truck that was turning onto County Road 19 from northbound Highway 52.

The driver of the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, Colten Kraling, 23, of Preston, was taken to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the 2001 Mack Straight Truck, Jeffrey Schmidt, 33, of Wykoff, was not injured.

Both were wearing seatbelts.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance.
