Chatfield Center for the Arts celebrates reopening Saturday

(ABC 6 News) – The City of Chatfield and its Economic Development Authority will celebrate the reopening of the Chatfield Center for the Arts on Saturday with several events planned.

The event will display some new renovations to the school building including a new atrium lobby that connects to the Potter Auditorium.

There will be a ribbon cutting, building dedication ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Building tours will follow until 1:00 p.m.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is FREE with parking available on the Twiford Street side of the property, adjacent to the plaza stage, where the ceremony will take place.

Later on, the grand opening event will take place with musical performances and more. This is a ticketed event.

  • Craft Beer Tasting: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Potter Plaza)
  • Annie Mack: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Potter Plaza)
  • The Sudden Lovelys: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Legion Room)
  • Steel Wheels: 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Potter Auditorium)
