Moderate to heavy snow, steady snow, will continue through the early morning hours. The heaviest should be out by 9 AM, with light on/off snow showers after that. Most, if not all, of the snow will be out from 12 - 2 PM today. Look for an additional 1" to 3" on top of what we picked up overnight. Total snowfall from Monday evening into Tuesday afternoon will be 4" to 8" from I-35 to HWY 52. East of HWY 52 holds the better chance at seeing 8" or more, especially closer to the Mississippi River and into WI. Once the snow is over, the forecast focus for the afternoon will be the increasing winds, causing drifting concerns and more travel difficulties through the afternoon/evening/overnight.
