(ABC 6 News) -- There's another place for beer lovers to get their craft-brew fix in Rochester.

"Thesis Beer Project' is now open on 2nd Street Southwest.   They've collaborated with Cafe Steam to offer coffee drinks from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and beer from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.   The idea for the this project was centered around education and how great ideas come at different hours of the day.

"I think Rochester is a city were it's a little behind on the craft beer scene, it's a little behind on the distillery and wine scene and having more micro brewery's and having more tap rooms only encourages you know people to try something unique and only in Rochester," said General Manager Chris Kenow.

Community engagement is also an important part of the business.  Once a quarter, they plan to work with a non-profit by brewing a beer and giving them a space to inform guests of their cause.

The Gift of Life Transplant House will be the first non-profit to take part.
