Teen Driver Involved in Fatal Crash

(ABC 6 News) -- Minnesota State Patrol says a 39-year-old man has died after a single vehicle accident on Friday.

Authorities say a 17-year-old was driving when the crash took place. The incident happened on Highway 109 and Faribault County Road 21 in Walnut Lake Township.

The single vehicle crash took place around 1:00 p.m. after the driver drove on the shoulder of the road after coming out of a curve.

Authorities say the vehicle spun across both lanes and entered the south ditch and rolled. 

The teen was brought to Mayo Clinic Hospital Saint Marys Campus in Rochester.
