A large ridge is going to develop across parts of the United States as we move into the start of next week. Underneath the ridge is where we are going to find temperatures in the 80s, along with dew points into the 60s and 70s. There is an upper level area of high pressure that is located over the Tennessee/Kentucky area which will keep our winds just above the surface out of the south. That's why we are going to be under hotter and more humid conditions through the upcoming weekend; the upper level high is going to stay in that general place until the weekend when it's pushed farther south, closer to the Gulf which means it's influence over our weather won't be as great.
