Sleet and freezing rain will cause for a slick drive into work this morning. The light wintry mix will put a glaze of ice over the untreated surfaces before our light & persistent snow moves in for today. Don't forget to check the latest road conditions before heading out the door!
Snowfall totals will be in the 1-3" range for most, with a few places closer to the I-35 corridor seeing 4". Wind will remain breezy as well, with gusts in the 25-35 mph range, causing blowing and drifting snow issues, aiding in the already difficult travel scenario for the area.
Thursday & Friday will bring in a couple more light and steady snow events, mixing rain at times, with a new 1-2" expected both days.
Temperatures are back to the middle 30s today, with numbers like these lasting through the weekend, and into the first half of next week!
Have a great Wednesday, and be safe on the roads today!
