They're back! Isolated downpours are materializing once again, but odds are you're not going to be seeing them. Underneath one, you could end up getting a quick inch of rain, but it's not to be expected. This activity will pulse up and fade away, just like a whack-a-mole game, dotting the region through 10pm.
Guess what? We'll do it again on Thursday. This time this activity appears more centered across Iowa vs the Minnesota side. But it's the same scenario. Isolated rain is out there, but not to be expected.
We hold out until late Sunday afternoon into Monday morning for our best opportunity to green thrings up a bit. Widespread, beneficial rains appear to be on the way. After that rain, a subtle reminder that school starts soon. Temperatures take a tumble as a Canadian airmass settles in for a few days.
