(ABC 6 News) -- The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office is investigating after at least $1,000 was stolen from a deposit box at Bremer Bank in Stewartville this week.
Authorities got a call around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 for suspicious circumstances. Bank officials said it appeared someone had used a "sticky rat trap" device in the deposit box.
A 50-year-old woman also called saying the deposits she made had never come through. She said she made the deposits around 5 on Sunday, March 10.
Olmsted County Sheriff Captain Scott Behrns said they're reviewing security footage and are working to find out who is responsible. The woman's money would have gone missing sometime between the 10th and 13th, but Capt. Behrns said there could possibly be more.
