We are looking at a rather stormy end of the week and weekend around the area. The reason, a slow-moving area of low pressure to our south, will stall a frontal boundary just south of the area on Friday. This will bring another round of storms to the area, some of which could be strong to severe, with all aspects of severe weather possible in the strongest storms. This threat is greatest along and west of I-35. A few stronger storms will be possible for everyone, even east of the interstate. This storm system will be slow to clear the area this weekend, meaning more storms for Saturday, a few of which could be strong/severe once again, with storms (non-severe) even into Sunday. Not only is it a bit stormy, but it'll be soggy as well, with soaking rain expected Friday-Sunday night.
