(ABC 6 News) -- Two ladies who head up Rochester's Special Olympics team took on a new challenge with Olympians on Saturday.
Lori Torgerson and Leann Bieber put on a healthy living clinic where more than a dozen athletes learned how to make better eating choices. They also learned helpful fitness skills.
Olmsted County's Sheriff Kevin Torgerson, a strong supporter of Special Olympics and all people with disabilities, taught basics on healthy relationships and social media.
The event is part of Special Olympics Minnesota's SOfit health promotion program that takes a unified approach to improving and protecting the health and wellness of people with and without intellectual disabilities.
