Skywarn Storm Spotter Classes

(ABC 6 News) – It’s that time of year again. We’re thinking about spring Severe Weather season and Skywarn Storm Spotter training classes. These classes are a way to train volunteers to spot severe thunderstorms and alert meteorologists and authorities with real-time reports and the dangers associated with thunderstorms when those storms are happening.

There are nine in-person classes in our area this Spring. Two classes will be held virtually. Here’s the class list below. They are all free and open to the public. Virtual classes require pre-registration. More details with each class can be found in the corresponding link.
