Keep the shovels on standby. They'll be put to use across all communities locally. Some may even opt for the snow blower! Snow arrives Monday evening and continues, heavy at times Monday night before fully wrapping up for everyong by Tuesday afternoon. Snow totals will range locally, generally between 3 and 8" of snow. A tighter breakdown sees those numbers gradually ramp upwards from communities west of I35 to the highest for those closer to the Mississippi River Valley. Even more is possible into Wisconsin with up to 14" possible in spots.
Travel impacts will be expected beginning 6 PM on Monday and continue into Wednesday morning before seeing significant improvement.
A Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory are in place to account for this activity. They both stretch through various times on Tuesday evening/night.
