Though there seems to be some disagreement among the models, there is a marginal risk for severe weather as we end the day Friday going into the overnight through the morning hours on Saturday. A cold front is expected to swing south throughout the afternoon on Friday and impact the forecast area by the early to mid afternoon. By the late afternoon, we may see some showers and thunderstorms develop out west and push eastward as we move into the overnight hours. There is a marginal risk for severe weather with wind and hail being the main threats. We can't discount an isolated tornado threat however, the environment is more suitable for a wind and hail type situation.
