A clash of fronts coming together over the region will provide the spark for showers and thunderstorms for Saturday afternoon. The setup isn't the most favorable for widespread severe weather, but the likelihood will be greater along and south of the warm front before the two come together. Hail and high wind will be the threats to key in on.
As far as timeframe, 1PM-6PM will provide the best window of opportunity for storms. Past that, the airmass will be dominated by cooler air and lingering showers will be left holding into Sunday.
