(ABC 6 News) -- Two Rochester residents are in custody following what police are calling a "substantial heroin arrest".

On February 1, 23-year-old Tyler Green was arrested in Rochester following a narcotics investigation but was released on bond.  16 days later and he was arrested, again, this time for allegedly having between $20,000-$25,000 worth of pure heroin.

Rochester Police Captain John Sherwin said the Criminal Interdiction Unit received information that Green was still involved in narcotics sales and had received a shipment of heroin from Chicago. Officers surveyed him on Interstate 90 on February 17 and followed him into Rochester. Once pulled over, officers allegedly found 3 ounces of pure heroin inside his vehicle.
