'Ron in a Tub' Raises Money for Women's Shelter

October 03, 2017 10:58 PM

(ABC 6 News) - A Rochester business owner is spending the next two days perched 20 feet in the air, in a bathtub.

Ron Simon is raising money as part of Domestic Violence Awareness month. Everything donated will go toward the women's shelter which helped more than 200 women and children last year.

"They have a tremendous need, if we can raise 10, 20, 30, 100,000, I have no idea, it's the community that can make that happen," Simon said.

The bathtub being 20 feet high is significant of how many women are turned away from shelters each month.
