(ABC 6 News) -- Rochester police arrested a Rochester man on a warrant, and now that man is facing a drug charge.

Around 2 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, a Rochester police officer saw MIchael Shulze on the 200 block of 1 Ave SW. The officer knew Shulze had a warrant out for his arrest, so he took him into custody for that.

According to Rochester Police Captain Casey Moilanen, Shulze was "fidgeting" in the back seat of the squad car. When they got to the jail, the officer asked Shulze if he had any drugs on him. Shulze allegedly told the officer he had cocaine in his sock.

Capt. Moilanen said the officer found 4.04 grams of cocaine in Shulze's sock. In addition to the case he had the warrant for, Shulze is now facing a 3rd-degree controlled substance charge.
