(ABC 6 News) -- Two people were taken to the hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance after a crash in Rochester Wednesday morning. 

It happened at the intersection of North Broadway and 55 St. NE in Cascade Township around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. According to Olmsted County Sheriff's Captain Scott Behrns, 37-year-old Alma Zavala-Carmona was driving a Volkswagon Routan and was in the turn lane to go west on 55 St. Witnesses told deputies that Zavala-Carmona pulled out in front of an Audi, causing a crash.

Witnesses also said the Audi had a green light. The driver of the Audi, 32-year-old Brett Tradup of Plainview, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. 

Zavala-Carmona went to the hospital with minor injuries. She was cited for not having a valid driver's license and failure to yield.
